Brand Identity

 

Project Objectives:

A client needed a logo for New Fruit: a local nonprofit that provides for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of people in the east side of Columbus by supplying food, sanitary items, and the message of the gospel. New Fruit also specifically challenges young adults in the area to serve in their community and build relationships with people outside their everyday circles.

The growth of one’s character that takes place within hidden places of the heart is one of the main themes in this brand. The heart is depicted as a fruit with the leaves/stem having a faint symbolic resemblance to the cross.


It was important to the client to keep the “T” at the end of Fruit as a cross. (This design decision also helped balance out the visual distribution.)
